I finished the entire series THEN watched this movie not knowing it was sort of an intro into season 7. Certainly not much cop as a stand-alone movie since you really need to understand the "baggage" which the main protagonists bring to the plot - hence, I guess, why 20th Century Fox brand this as a Feature Length Special. Meanwhile, Jack Bauer is on the other side of the world in Sangala, Africa, escaping from the memories of his past and evading a subpoena from Washington over charges that he tortured prisoners while at CTU. Do men like "Jack Bauer" really exist? That's who he IS, and I believe fans would like to believe they would do the same, vicariously as it may be.

Split screens often show us the action in more than one locale. Cliche to the extreme in every imaginable aspect: a terrible plot, even worse directing, and words alone cannot describe just how poor the acting was in this atrocity.

Among the streaming services, Amazon Prime has exclusive rights to the first eight seasons, as well as Redemption … Gave to fan as gift & pleased I'm 24's biggest fan, and think it's the greatest example of written and visual entertainment since Homer, but this is just Jack-lite.

I just couldn't rate it as a 5 due to the story line being a bit predictable, even a little slow for an 'action' movie. Haven’t seen it yet but I know it’s going to be great

Wouldn't do as a stand alone movie as you really need to know more about the character and why he is how he is. I believe so.
