There was a lack of thought put into things - for example, tea and coffee were available in rooms, but milk sachets were five months out of date. Other than our disappointment with the food - which is so important with any holiday - the hotel itself is still wonderful, the new staff friendly and helpful, and there is an added bonus of the wellness spa opening earlier in the day. All staff were very pleasant and worked hard under sometimes difficult circumstances.

They didn't seem able to serve food any faster and were largely inflexible with catering for children. The bathroom was cleaned each day but the black mould on the silicone sealant around the bath was still there on day 7!
