No tourist trap.
I had the Strozzapreti with pesto and roasted almonds, it was amazing!! Even though it is close to the lines and such to the , it IS INDEED a local and very personal kind of place. This place is great, I was pleasantly surprised it wasn't a . Very accessible before or after visiting the Vatican Museum. I had the spinach ravioli and a bottle of wine for the table, which came out to €17 or so per person.
Good value for the money, quick service, great pastas. We ordered the ham and cheese omelette, vegetarian omelette, and pancakes. The food in Rome (and Italy in general) is just freaking heavenly. Would definitely recommend :)The staff blew me away here!
OMG!! Waitress was very friendly and patient as we practiced our Italian but spoke great English. Her lamb dish was delicious, it was cooked perfect. Super convenient & food was pretty cheap and good! After several thousand Roman restaurant meals over … ilpeperoncinodoro.it. Lovely atmosphereWe had a wonderful Christmas Eve dinner.
We had an excellent lunch that included fresh bread, antipasti (buffalo mozzarella and prosciutto), and then we had the spaghetti carbonara. With a takeaway water bottle, 24€ for a giant salad and bowl of pasta. The food and the price was good. Food was delicious and the staff very nice (and funny) Réserver une table Spaghetti, Rome sur Tripadvisor : consultez 871 avis sur Spaghetti, noté 4,5 sur 5 sur Tripadvisor et classé #292 sur 12 273 restaurants à Rome.
The best pasta in Rome is usually found in casual and delicious trattorias, where you can find typical Roman dishes like spaghetti alla carbonara, cacio e pepe, spaghetti alla gricia (which is not … Eat inside it's very cuteAdorable little spot.

The employees were welcoming and genuinely friendly. Amazing.
The services was good and...We had great pasta (carbonara and lasagna) and Caesar salad at this restaurant and found it to be much more reasonably priced than many of the other restaurants in the area.
Of all the 4 dishes tried, we really were not impressed.
The sauce was mediocre as well, I'd go here again if I had too but I'm sure you could find something a bit better. We stopped her before our tour at the Vatican.

Staff are very friendly and the food is amazing. Very delicious and and a great price! We stopped for a quick breakfast here prior to going on the Vatican tour and I must say the food was mediocre.
But, too bad this my review instead of hers. I would too I guessWe were looking for some "real" local pasta and saw the reviews from others for this AMAZING restaurant. The pancakes were very dense not fluffy or light at all, but the fruit berry mixture on top and the fresh whipped cream made the pancakes slightly enjoyable.Came here after a trip to the Vatican Museum/Sistine Chapel because of the sign outside indicating they had homemade pasta which was welcoming considering the generic dinner I'd had at campo de fiori the night before with boxed pasta. Not a huge menu but delicious pasta! Just good ole Italian food. I also think the spaghetti was house-strung 3 minutes before they brought it to the table.
We went there for brekky (quite in a rush as we were late) and just happened to pass by this Cafe. By far, hands down, the BEST pancakes in the world!!!! The pistachio...I am italian and Born in Rome. Here is a photo of the most amazing appetizer I have ever had.You need to come here. Cheese proactively on the table with delicious oil and balsamic. I ordered the spaghetti & meatballs while my mom ordered the lamb.
The least impressive dish was ironically the spaghetti. The breakfast was delicious! Claim your business to immediately update business information, respond to reviews, and more! The restaurant is small but it is very close to the Vatican Museums. And the service was so nice and fast! The customer service was great. The water was for 2.
We all had pasta and could barely finish. If you're in the Vatican, it's a good bet that you'll enjoy a meal here.Very good service, maybe the best I've experienced in Rome.
We ate in the outside seating area which was nice. Kind, attentive, and welcoming.
There …
Of course we loved the wine. Huge portions of true delight! Air-conditioned inside - really important as...We found this place through TripAdvisor and when we first went (in the evening), it was closed. Very casual and quiet little restaurant very close to St Paul’s and the Vatican....Came here on a rainy night and had some really good spaghetti with meatballs and spaghetti carbonara. Recommend this place, being so close to the Vatican museums. The simple tomato pasta was lovely.
I got the pasta with chicken, zucchini, & smoked cheese. I would pay for a round trip to ticket to Rome just to eat here again. Wishing we would have tried some of their authentic Roman dishes instead of the Italian ones.
Amazing authentic pasta !!
Incredibly affordable. We ate two types of pasta and drink the local beer. Expected fresher ingredients.
A small place so make reservations. Great location but enough off the beaten path to be quiet and feel less touristy.Authentic, simple, comfortable, great food, better service, as such, a great value. I enjoyed the meatballs and my date had the carbonara.
We went during the afternoon and there was nobody. Roscioli Salumeria.
It has to be the best pesto dish I have ever had!
I highly recommend eating here if you want excellent food and outstanding service. Very friendly service and very good prices. The restaurant was very close to our apartment.
But the pasta here was amazing al dente and full of flavor!
The staff was very helpful with two non Italian speaking Americans. But the pasta here was amazing al dente and full of flavor!
