I was happily surprised to learn that Chip and JoJo were going to make a 5th season of Fixer Upper. The title could have been improved; this project was A Touchdown For A Family.

There is nothing better than a village of caring people who contribute to the wellbeing of others. This season is their best, although my husband and I have enjoyed FIXER UPPER since the first show.
My sister and I watch these over and over as therapy. There is just so much boring, ugly stuff on ALL kinds of TV. So much freaking fun to watch.

It was great...as expected...and I have NO DOUBT that the rest of the season will be fabulous, too! The Tim Tebow Foundation, The Gaines Family, the Make A Wish Foundation, contributions by local businesses/the community, and (by reference in the episode) Angel Flight remind us that together much can be accomplished. This episode's project is a consortium of caring. Available Full Episodes. As a viewer it really appears that everything the Gaines' set out to do, they accomplish with excellence. Texas design and remodeling pros Chip and Joanna Gaines are helping homebuyers to look past the superficial, convincing them to buy the worst house on the best block and then make it beautiful. Functionality and practicality in this project do not sacrifice aesthetics. I have been inspired to try out a few projects and improve our little condo from watching the show.
I hope they come back with future seasons down the road.
