Especially if it goes off of instant video and someone has to rent it again, but it turns out to be the totally wrong film. I used to use it as an example of narrative and visual flow.

This film re-enacts the hardship they had to endure whilst stuck on the beach of Dunkirk whilst been machine gunned and dive bombed by the nazis. As British and French troops were forced back into an ever-decreasing pocket of land by the relentless onslaught of the Germans, the British Navy launched a momentous effort to save them at short notice.

This one does have some footage I'd not seen before and it spends as much time talking about the lead up as the actual evacuation. It lead to the rebuilding of Forces Numbers for the Rebuilding Troops for the coming invasion.

For the French, Dunkirk became a bitter symbol of British betrayal.
