I work as Humanitarian/DRR and Coordination Analyst at the UN Women Regional Office for Asia and the Pacific. Previously, I was working with UN Women Nepal coordinating the work of the Humanitarian Inter-Cluster Gender Working Group following the 2015 earthquakes and with UN Women in Fiji coordinating the work of the Safety and Protection Cluster post-cyclone. Prior to this, I was working in Bangladesh on women’s economic empowerment, extreme poverty and climate change resilience. My main interest is promoting gender equality and women’s empowerment in humanitarian action, DRR and resilience.
