Bruce Kent was born 1929 in London. Education in Canada and England (Stony hurst College, the Jesuit boarding  school) then  6th Royal Tank regiment47-49. Degree in Law,Oxford 1952.Ordained as a catholic priest 1958  and spent 30  years in parish and student work in London. Retired from this ministry but not from the church in 1987,  and has since devoted himself to issues of peace and war through many organisations, including Pax Christi, the Campaign for Nuclear Disarmament, the
International Peace Bureau and others.
