Ms Sadia Tasleem is currently a Robin Copeland Memorial Fellow for Nonproliferation. She is doing research on “Challenging the Status Quo: Creating a Constituency for Vertical Nonproliferation in Pakistan." Besides, she is a Lecturer at the Department of Defence & Strategic Studies, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad.
Prior to this she has worked as a Senior Research Scholar at the Institute for Strategic Studies, Research and Analysis (ISSRA) at the National Defence University; a Research Associate at the International Islamic University and a Lecturer at the Department of International Relations, National University of Modern Languages.
She is the recipient of the RCSS Research Award 2006 for producing a Monograph study on “Indo-US Nuclear Cooperation: Altering Strategic Positioning & Shifting Balance of Power in South Asia”. She has also published a number of Journal articles on issues of nuclear proliferation and strategic stability in the leading journals in Pakistan.
Her research interests include the issues relating Strategic Stability, Nuclear Learning, Knowledge Diffusion, Export Control Regimes and Dynamics of Nuclear Politics in South Asia.
